27. Reflecting on LISTENING WITHIN

Hello! Welcome to this sacred space … to this quiet moment …
to our reflective, meditative time together!
I’m Bill Bauman, and I’m deeply honored
to invite us to reflect together now on …
… LISTENING WITHIN!
When we really listen … I mean really, really listen,
we not only hear the spoken words and understand their concepts;
we hear the heartbeat of the words, the energy of the sounds,
the pulsing of the emotion and the deeper meaning of the message.
When we listen not just with mind,
but with heart, soul and spirit,
we hear the reverberation and heart of the message
as it resonates everywhere within us,
as it penetrates every space of our being,
as it lives beyond the boundaries of sound
and as it speaks the fullest spirit and passion of its truth.
When we listen … I mean, really, really listen—
to ourselves, to others, to the earth, to space,
to the universe, to the endless realm of spirit,
to each and every sound and to every word,
an amazing ‘something’ occurs.
A magical moment ensues. A feel-able miracle happens:
We step beyond and lose our self.
We become one with the message,
we unify with the speaker of the message,
we identify with the bigger truth of the message.
Yes, we step outside of our own mind’s thoughts,
we move beyond the limits of our own beliefs
and, for a sacred moment, we forget who we are.
We literally become something else, something greater.
What might be being spoken within you right now?
What message or wisdom might be pulsating in your energy?
What truth might be speaking to you from the inner knowing of your body?
What dynamic power might be expressing in your deepest consciousness?
Strangely, as you’re listening, might you be interpreting it to mean one thing,
perhaps the interpretation assigned by your well-meaning mind,
rather than the bigger, fuller truth of the actual message?
Let’s be a little specific!
What might your soul be revealing to you right now,
an input that, if you were really, really listening to it,
you could hear clearly and accurately?
What might your heart be expressing right now,
a message that you could hear distinctly and powerfully
if you were really, really listening?
What might your quantum source be expressing to you now,
a message surely spoken to you without words or concepts
inviting you to really, really listen?
Let’s listen together now, you and I!
Let’s really, really listen—to your intelligent body,
to your perceptive energy, to your loving heart,
to your mighty soul, to your light-filled spirit
and, especially, to your immensely powerful quantum source!
Allow me to paint what I believe is the bigger reality!
The truth of all creation is alive within your inner awareness,
and it’s speaking its knowledge to you every day!
The inexplicable wonder of life everywhere is proclaiming its awe
within your body, your energy and your soul every day!
The immeasurable power of the quantum void is inviting you
into its miraculous nature not just every day, but right now!
All we need to do is to listen … I mean really, really listen!
Listen as if our very life depended on it,
listen as if its message was the most important thought ever expressed,
listen as if every flicker of awareness within us wanted to hear,
listen as if this message, this truth, this moment, this power
was the most important message, truth, moment and power imaginable!
You and I have come together today to listen …
to listen … really, really listen …
to your inwardly embedded wisdom, to your deeply rooted truth,
to your innermost source and to your mighty knowing
as their waves of energy, their pulsings of power,
their resonances of wisdom and their rays of light
speak mightily and powerfully
to your soulful receptors, to your heartful vibrations,
to your intuitive mind, to your spirit’s embrace.
What might you be hearing now, today
as my words serve as soft background music
inviting that message and supporting its truth?
What might you be hearing now, today
as you and I are surrounded by and filled with
these amazing inner sources of bigger, deeper truth
and as we are sitting in the quiet vortex of their power?
Whatever it is or might be—whether it’s clear as a bell in this moment
or still somewhat vague but asking you to continue listening …
I mean really, really listening … in the days ahead,
I’m inviting you to become and be a listener … I mean, a real, real listener …
and, in being that real listener every day,
become educated, inspired, aware and enlightened
like never before.
As the ancient saying goes, “The truth shall set you free!”

not so much to me … but to yourself—your deeper self, your fuller self,
your higher self, your heartful self, your soulful self, physical self,
your energetic self and, especially, your quantum self—
