42. Reflecting on PLAYING with LIFE

Hello! Welcome to this sacred space … to this quiet moment …

I’m Bill Bauman, and I’m deeply honored

to invite us to reflect together now on …

… playing with life!

Have you ever sat back and observed little kids?

It looks like their whole life is about playing.

Their seemingly primitive mind-set seems hard-wired

to view life here on earth as some sort of game—

an entertaining sport to be played, enjoyed and celebrated.

Personally speaking, I’m a bit in awe of this fun-oriented mind-set.

When Donna’s and my son was small, I would often sit in wonder

as I witnessed him going from one fun experience to the next.

I began to wonder, What secret about life do these little kids have

that the rest of us so-called sophisticated adults have abandoned?

Well, it’s in this spirit that I’m inviting you today to join me

in resurrecting your own child-like mind-set of freedom and play.

If I look at life through a quantum lens, I discover the same phenomenon.

Through this source-ful lens, I see all of creation as a giant quantum fantasy,

a quantumly imagined story of pretend and make-believe,

a quantumly produced and directed movie about enticing possibilities—

the exact fantasy, story and movie

that our little kids are embracing and playing in!

Could it be, I wonder, that little children,

not yet having been “educated” into our adult version of life,

not yet having forgotten the original meaning of existence,

know and experience a lot more about the real purpose of living

than we sophisticated, educated, intelligent, civilized adults do?

So, today, I am inviting you to both a quantum vision of creation

and a child’s vision of it, because both of them are the same!

Journey with me, for our few moments together,

into the fascinating realm of your sub-conscious mind,

where that original story of life still lives and thrives,

and then into your quantum depths,

where your quantum source will show us anew how to play.

Are you ready?

First, let’s spelunk into the wondrous world of your sub-conscious mind!

Dive with me into your deeper mind’s realm of hidden secrets.

Swim with me in its renewing waters of inviting adventures.

And, most of all, discover the simpler truth about your human life

as you now see it afresh through its wise eyes.

What do you see when looking through your sub-conscious eyes?

The short answer is this: You see exactly what little children see!

You see a world created with numerous possibilities

Waiting and ready to be embodied and experienced.

You see a playground pre-designed for many games to be played on it.

You see a magical, mystical world of wonder to be discovered.

You see opportunities to be played out, possibilities to be lived out,

colors and sounds to be played with, love and power to be experienced,

adventures to be embraced and a whole world ready to be your stage.

In my psychological years, I discovered that our precious little kids

slowly begin to forget and release this precious vision of life

as they are progressively instructed and trained

about life’s serious responsibilities and the importance of achieving.

Bit-by-bit, their pure quantum and childlike vision of life

gets relegated to and deposited in

their sub-conscious mind—

sort of like their own secure and safe bank vault—

for future reference, for a time when they’re ready to wake up anew

to its wisdom … and respond anew to its timely call.

I wonder, could this be your time to wake up anew

to your sub-conscious mind’s childlike wisdom?

Is it your time to restore your sub-conscious mind to its rightful place

as a central influence in your human consciousness?

Let’s also ask your quantum source to weigh in on this subject.

What message or wisdom are you hearing now from that pure source

about your life and how to live it—about play and fun?

As I see it, your quantum source is the actual dreamer of your life.

As such, it is exactly like those precious little kids—

in its dream, it’s loving the adventure of your life,

it’s celebrating every possibility that you’re experiencing,

it’s experiencing the fun and play in your every movement.

It’s even finding your seriousness and heaviness amusing,

enjoying the ways you assume that your life is so important

and laughing at the mind-centered beliefs that you passionately embrace!

In short, your quantum source,

just like little kids and like your sub-conscious mind,

is enjoying each and every moment of your life

in this dream-like, fantasy-filled, story-like adventure of fun!

So, I ask you now to ask yourself:

What are my quantum source and sub-conscious mind

wanting to tell me now about playing in and with my life?

What wisdom or truth about how I’m living this quantum dream

are they wanting to awaken me to now”

Are they perhaps saying something like:

“It’s now your time to let go of your learned seriousness

and elevate your sub-conscious mind’s truth back

to its rightful place in your daily experience!

It’s time to start playing with your life!”

Let’s take this moment to do exactly that.

Sit back now, let go and simply observe what’s happening.

Observe your quantum power

as it is now gently moving your sub-conscious mind’s wisdom

back into your conscious mind,

restoring it to a place of honor and influence there

and now empowering it to be a true force,

inviting you to play with your life every day.

just like your quantum source always experiences
