46. Reflecting on Connecting with Your INNER TRUTH

I’m Bill Bauman, and I’m deeply honored
to invite us to reflect together now on …
… your inner truth!
We’ve all heard and know the saying: “The truth lies within!”
It’s a powerful and wisdom-packed expression!
Especially in a world where we’re daily invited to believe other people's version of truth,
it can be downright puzzling to decipher whether that person’s truth is also our truth.
So, today, I’m inviting you to a journey deep, deep, deep within yourself,
where we’ll search for “the truth that lies within” you.
Aas a bit of background, though, let’s first look at this intangible phenomenon,
this everyday ‘thing’ that we call truth.
What is truth, exactly?
The more I experience how life works on our funny 3-dimensional planet,
the more I’m convinced that our collective concept of truth—
that is, the belief that there is a generalizable, objective truth,
a truth that applies equally to everyone—simply isn’t accurate.
Instead, truth is present in and around us
as a personal, individual, internally derived and generated ‘thing.’
Given that we have different personalities, beliefs, bodies, etc.,
what is true or right for one person can’t be generalized or true for everyone.
So, the important question isn’t ‘What is truth?’ but is, ‘What is your truth?’
In search of the answer, let’s take a bold approach!
Let’s look to your soul. Ahh, your precious, delightful soul!
Your personal soul is composed of light, in fact, the pure light of endless infinity.
And that universally radiating light breathes and celebrates
the pure truth of all creation.
I've come to believe that one of the greatest gifts to have been bestowed
on us human is the gift of this infinite light,
as it has been so generously downloaded and installed within each one of us,
in the remarkable form of your and my internally, intimately, residing soul!
So, your very soul serves you every day as the repository, resource and wellspring
of everything that is true about you and for you.
And your devoted soul radiates that truth to you, inspiring and guiding you to know
who you really are, why you’re here in human form
and what’s true, wise and best for you in every situation and moment.
So, let’s visit your dynamic soul, this radiant repository of your personal truth!
Let’s find its invisible, intangible, light-filed, luminous presence within you,
then let’s take up residence there for these few moments together!
Are you ready? We’re on our way!
Here we are now, in the presence of your inner-dwelling soul,
face-to-face with the home and residence of your personal truth!
Let’s enter its welcoming warmth, feel its protective embrace
and sacredly let go into its delicious light!
Let’s sit down in its invisible lap … and start to listen silently listen to its pure wisdom!
Let’s clear our minds, release our thoughts and open our hearts
so that its purest truth, clearest awareness and richest wisdom can fill us!
Let’s allow … simply allow … whatever our wise inner sage called soul has to say!
And while we’re at it, let’s forget
that we ever thought that we were separate from or other than our precious soul!
Stay here, sitting in your soul’s love-filled bosom, as long as you want.
When you feel ready, allow yourself to open your eyes, look around briefly,
then look within anew and re-discover your soul. Find its presence again.
Noice that it’s now a bit closer to you, that you share a more compelling magnetic pull,
that you are more intimately connected, even bonded now with your soul …
that your soul has even set within is light a place of honor for the human version of you.
Notice, in other words, that you’ve just taken a step closer to an enormous truth:
the truth that your soul is the purest version, the most real version, of you …
the truth that the human version of you has just come back home,
the truth that you are soul first, and human next,
the even biggest truth that, in truth, there is and never has been any separation
between the human you and the soul-ful you!
You are soul!
Before we part, let’s spend another moment celebrating this remarkable truth!
Let’s officially perceive you as a spiritual soul dressed up as a human being!
Let’s acknowledge and celebrate your soulful nature and its pure truth!
And let’s embrace the uniting of your two natures—soul and human—
in an impermeable bond of shared love, mutual embrace and permanent partnership!
Thank you so much for these beautiful moments together today!
Thank you for being so intimately connected to your inner truth!
And thank you for being the infinite, radiant and beautiful soul
that is hanging out in human form, playing the game of human intrigue,
and soulfully enhancing your human experience with the gift of your truth!
